HI, I’M CHARLOTTE.

My story isn’t quite how I imagined it would be at the age of 30 however it is the story that has led me here - pursing the calling I believe I am here to do to help others.
At 30 years old I am officially a stage 4 metastatic bowel cancer survivor. From being diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer and completing chemotherapy between 2020 / 2021 in Australia away from my family during the worst of the Covid pandemic... to now. In 2023 I had been back in the UK for almost 2 years cancer free when I was told the cancer had unfortunately returned and spread to my lung BUT after undergoing further successful surgery I have now officially been declared cancer free for the second time - this time from stage 4. Which feels completely mind blowing to me. Now I have to begin my 5 year journey in remission from scratch but I am determined to make it count.
While navigating my way through the hardest and most traumatic time of my life I have been exposed to a whole host of life experiences both positive and negative, taught myself effective coping mechanisms to manage my physical and mental health each day and grew the confidence from within to advocate for myself, and my health, to be able to survive. But above it all I have grown mentally, physically and spiritually beyond what I ever thought possible.
I know that I can’t let everything I have been through be for nothing. I now feel ready to share what I have learnt and help others develop the skills within themselves to be prepared to manage life’s challenges - which we will all inevitably face in some respect at some point.
